A Festive Afternoon with Kingsfleet Residents

Our Christmas event held on 10th December at the local garden centre, was a thoroughly enjoyable and successful afternoon. Hosted by Thetford Management Company from 3:00–6:00 pm, the venue provided a warm and welcoming setting, with residents speaking very positively about the event, the friendly staff, and the catering.

Around 20 property owners attended, including a couple who were working at the garden centre on the day. The event was attended by Abigail Morton, Preim’s Estate Manager for Kingsfleet and Michael Westwood from Preim, alongside Travel Planning Coordinator Andrew Bingham and Preim colleagues Karen and Lisa, all of whom were available throughout the afternoon to chat with residents, answer questions, and listen to what mattered most to them.

Conversations were open and wide-ranging, covering practical topics such as speeding along Victory Way, parking on grass verges and visitor bays, street lighting preferences, and the potential for additional Electric Vehicle Charging Points.

It was clear how much residents care about their community, and the event offered a valuable opportunity to connect face-to-face to better understand resident queries and have open and honest conversations. We’re now reviewing the feedback shared on the day and will be providing follow-up updates via the Places app.
